Patch v0.1d/e/f


Hello everyone!

The reception of Battle Stones has been great so far, with the game reaching 2,100 views and almost 1,500 browser plays in just a few days! Thank you all so much! I'm happy to share a quick patch to solve some issues and bring some improvements. The main one is some tweaks to the description panel of stones, I hope this makes it clearer to grasp the combo mechanics and helps to dive into the strategy more easily. The full changelog is below. Please don't hesitate to comment, share your thoughts, suggest the game to friends and family... This helps a lot to maybe turn this project into a bigger thing!

Changelog for v0.1d/e/f

Added

  • Added a small lexicon in the escape menu during battle scenes, to help when unsure about the meaning of an icon

Changed

  • Reorganized and rephrased the description panel of stones to clarify how they work (the base move, the combo rules to increase the base move, additional active or passive effects...) (Please give me feedback on this one!)
  • When merging stones or using board marks, Fleeting and Exile effects will now cancel each other out instead of leaving only Fleeting
  • Replaced Wildfire marks by attack marks on the board of encounter 7
  • Prevented the trash Tomb stones from appearing in shops
  • Improvements to the tutorial (rephrased some sentences to clarify the position of the elements, and moved the tutorial progress index next to the buttons)

Fixed

  • Fixed softlock when two identical board marks such as Fleeting or Wildfire try to apply to the same stone
